Calculations and simulated downloads run in your browser. The application has no accounts, advertising, analytics or file uploads.

Who is responsible

kooheji.dev is responsible for this website and its privacy practices. Contact privacy@kooheji.dev for privacy questions, rights requests or security concerns. Please do not send passwords or sensitive documents.

What happens in your browser

File sizes, selected units and connection speeds, calculation results and simulation controls stay in page memory. The activity log and transfer graph describe the simulation, not your real network traffic. The application does not upload these values, inspect your files or run an internet speed test.

Reloading or closing the page resets application state. Copy Page Link copies only the public site address and selected section; it does not include entered sizes, file names or simulation history.

Cookies, storage & consent

The application does not set cookies or use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, advertising identifiers, fingerprinting or a service worker. Your browser may cache public assets as part of normal website delivery. Fonts, scripts, styles and images are served from this site's own origin.

No optional cookies or tracking are enabled, so there is no cookie consent banner. No acceptance is inferred from browsing. If optional analytics, embeds or other non-essential storage are introduced, they must stay disabled until any required consent is given, with equally accessible refusal and withdrawal controls.

Hosting data & purposes

InMotion Hosting provides the hosting infrastructure. Delivering a page necessarily exposes network request information to the host. Technical access and security logs may contain IP addresses, request dates and times, paths, response codes and browser or referrer information. These are used to deliver, maintain and protect the website, not to build advertising profiles.

The server country, account-specific log-retention period, backup retention and international-transfer arrangements have not yet been confirmed. We do not claim that logs are immediately deleted or remain in a particular country. Contact privacy@kooheji.dev for the available account-specific information.

Legal basis

Where the GDPR applies, necessary delivery and proportionate security logging rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): operating a reliable website, diagnosing faults and preventing abuse, balanced against visitors' rights. Privacy correspondence is handled to answer requests and meet applicable legal duties; Article 6(1)(c) applies where a specific GDPR duty requires it. Consent is not used as a substitute for these purposes or for optional tracking.

Retention

Application inputs and simulation history exist only in the open page. Hosting and email records are separate: the host's actual retention settings still need verification. Privacy correspondence is kept while needed to resolve a request and meet applicable record-keeping obligations, then deleted or anonymised. You can ask about the retention applicable to your enquiry.

Third parties & international transfers

• InMotion Hosting receives technical request data to provide the site. Its privacy notice and legal centre describe its services and data-processing documents. These do not establish this account's specific configuration.
• Ko-fi and other linked websites receive a request only when you follow their links. They operate under their own privacy notices. This site embeds no third-party payment widget, video, social widget or remote font service.
• If you email us, your address, message and mail-routing data are processed by the email services used to deliver and answer it. Please provide only the information needed for your request.

Hosting or email services may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA. The account's locations, subprocessors and any required transfer safeguards must be verified; this notice does not assert that an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses cover an unverified arrangement. The application does not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions. The application has no account database, but that does not remove rights relating to identifiable hosting logs or correspondence.

Email privacy@kooheji.dev to make a request. Under the GDPR we respond without undue delay and normally within one month; if a permitted extension is necessary, we explain it within that first month. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority. If future processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it as easily as you gave it.

The application makes no automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects and does not profile visitors. It does not ask for sensitive personal data or children's personal details.

Data security

The supplied production configuration enforces HTTPS, restricts resource loading with a Content Security Policy, disables framing and directory listings, and adds browser security headers. There are no API keys, passwords or server credentials in the frontend. These measures reduce exposure; they do not guarantee absolute security or verify the live host's settings.

Report suspected security issues privately to privacy@kooheji.dev. Any personal-data incident will be assessed and handled under applicable notification duties.
